APRU Undergraduate Leaders’ Program (ULP) 2020 is now open for application
We are the creators, shapers, and movers of the future not only just for the Asia-Pacific region but for the rest of the world.
To the youth leaders, do you aspire to be woke in the ring of fire? Get ready to embark on a mission to work for opportunities and knowledge through experience towards the greater good.
Themed “Woke in the Ring of Fire: Working for Opportunities and Knowledge through Experience”, this year’s ULP will be hosted by the University of the Philippines from 06-17 July 2020.
ULP 2020 aims to expose youth leaders of the Asia-Pacific to interdisciplinary, people-centered, and environmentally sustainable approaches and solutions to meet emerging challenges in the Asia-Pacific in an increasingly globalized world.
The program will immerse youth leaders to the challenges of a developing country in the Asia-Pacific through a 12-day program of lectures and workshops, field site visits, excursions and proactive and interactive sessions on creativity, innovation, and empowerment.
ULP 2020 is targeted at undergraduate students of any discipline who have completed their first year of study. They must be aged 18 or above at the time of application.
To ensure the academic and experiential quality of the program, the participation of ULP 2020 will be capped at 50 students. Each APRU member university may nominate up to five students for the ULP.
