The formal program dates are June 29-August 30, 2025. We anticipate to arrange a pre-ISRP program for the selected students to coincide with the APRU President's Meeting the week prior. This year, ISRP faculty mentors represent a diverse range of disciplines within engineering, marine sciences, physical sciences, and biological sciences. For students to be invited to apply, we kindly ask that you complete this very brief nomination form. Each university is allotted one (1) nomination. Nominations must be submitted by 5 PM Pacific Time on Friday, March 14, 2025. Once students are nominated, Global Initiatives will send them a link to apply for the program. It is important that students review the participating labs to ensure their academic background and experience align with the subject matter and any required knowledge, skills and abilities relevant to the research project. Please be aware that acceptance into the program will ultimately be based on the faculty member's decision whether to invite a student into their lab. Nominations do not guarantee acceptance into the program. More information regarding the program, including participating labs, can be found at isrp.ucsd.edu. Should you have any questions or need additional information, do not hesitate to contact Kara Walls ([email protected]).
