[Save the date] The 9th Annual APRU Research Conference on Population Aging

"Dementia, Cognition, and Healthy and Productive Aging”

December 7-8, 2018, Hong Kong

 Hosted by the HKUST Institute for Emerging Market Studies, the 9th Annual Association of Pacific Rim Universities Research Conference on Population Aging will be held this December. 

The conference accepts either a full paper submission or a three-page paper abstract for consideration. Topic-related submissions on population aging are welcome, in particular: 

- Dementia and cognitive function of the elderly, including measurement, determinants, and consequences for work and elderly care
- Health care and long-term care
- Extending working lives, pensions, and retirement
- Elderly well-being, including economic, social, and physical and mental health

Please Note:
The notifications of accepted papers will be sent by September 30. It is expected that full papers will be available for circulation by the time of the conference.

PhD Student Session:
A special session will be organized for PhD student research presentations. Students can apply for financial support for travel by requesting such support and noting any special circumstances when they submit their papers. Funds are limited, students are strongly encouraged to seek other sources of support.

Expenses for hotel and meals will be covered by the conference.
