Berenice Voets
Policy Counsellor and APEC Liaison

Mrs. Voets is the Policy Counsellor and APEC Liaison for the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), a prestigious network of 62 leading universities across Asia, dedicated to addressing the challenges of the 21st century through collaborative research and policy initiatives.

In addition to her role at APRU, Mrs. Voets tutors at the Oxford Said Business School, guiding participants in the Leading Sustainable Corporations executive education program. She also contributes to the Economist Group’s senior leadership course on International Relations: China, Russia, the US, and the Future of Geopolitics. As a Senior Research Fellow at the Asia Business Council, she oversees the development of policy papers and organizes discussion forums. Mrs. Voets is also a strategic advisor to Musawah, a global non-profit that brings together NGOs, activists, scholars, legal practitioners, policymakers, and grassroots women and men globally to advance human rights for Muslim women.

Previously, Mrs. Voets was the Director of Public Affairs at the Hinrich Foundation, where she expanded a research program focused on sustainable global trade in Asia. At the East West Seed Group, she advised the CEO on social impact strategies, earning the company the World Food Prize and a #1 ranking on Bill & Melinda Gates’ “Access to Seed” Index. With over two decades of experience, she has advised leading corporations and non-profits across Asia on impact strategies and global risk management.

Mrs. Voets holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and an MBA from EDHEC Business School.
