After obtaining bachelor's degree in English Studies from Universitas Indonesia, Vini started her career as a journalist at an Indonesian media that focused on women empowerment and provided knowledge on personal identity and social values. 12 years later, she was awarded a scholarship by Hinrich Foundation to study MA in International Journalism Studies at the Hong Kong Baptist University.

Vini joined APRU in March 2024 as the Communications and Administrative Officer, responsible for supporting communications and promotions of APRU activities, events, and news; and maximizing efficiency and ensuring data integrity of APRU database. Prior to joining APRU, Vini worked at the International Organization for Migration (IOM - UN Migration) Hong Kong SAR, China sub-office. During the employment, she managed IOM's regional project to enhance protection and provide assistance and support for migrant workers, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic.
