Dr Tremewan has presented remarks at the Presidents’ Forum of the 2019 Symposium on World Class Universities hosted by Xi’an Jiaotong University from October 17th-20th calling on universities to lead in the development of solutions to address Asia-Pacific challenges.

The 2019 Symposium on World Class Universities theme focused on the role of world-class universities in social development, mechanism of moral education in the new era, assessment and sustainable development of double excellence universities. The Symposium convened the leadership from the Ministry of Education, C-9 Universities, and The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and representatives from world reputable institutions to exchange ideas and inform the direction of the leading higher education institutions in China.
