Annual Presidents' Meeting 2024

Connected by the world’s largest ocean, APRU’s 60 members will meet on the shores of the Pacific Ocean in Tāmaki Makaurau (the Māori name for Auckland) for the APRU Annual Presidents’ Meeting from June 24-26, 2024.

Hosted by the University of Auckland, the three-day meeting themed “Oceans – The World’s Challenges Divide Us, the Ocean Currents Connect Us” will explore and exchange knowledge and insights to consider the impacts of climate change on the oceans and the implications for communities and indigenous populations, climate justice, food and water security, and APRU’s role in leadership navigating these literal and metaphorical waters.

The program will include welcome reception, Presidents’ Dinner, keynotes, and expert panel. Presidents and university delegates are also invited to the Gala Dinner.
