Students from APRU member universities are invited to learn more about biodiversity by taking part in the Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) to engage in research projects under the supervision of academics from the School of Life Sciences at CUHK. This year, a total of 16 research projects studying different kinds of life, ranging from animals, plants, and microorganisms that make up our natural world are offered by SURP. Students will gain three credits upon completion of the program.
A series of learning enrichment activities such as genomics sequencing workshops and field trips to explore the ecosystem will be tailored for students enrolled in these projects. In addition, they can take part in a host of fun-filled cultural and social activities to explore Hong Kong culture and network with their peers from around the world.
